What a blast! An unforgettable edition of the Truckstar Festival
Sadly, it’s already over! After weeks of planning, preparing, and packing, the big day finally arrived on Friday, July 24th. Our truck, loaded with scale models and merchandise, set off for Assen with the setup crew. In no time, our stand transformed into a true paradise for collectors. We really pulled out all the stops this year, featuring around twenty exclusive Truckstar special edition models!
Early Saturday morning, the rest of the team joined in to put the finishing touches on everything. After a quick briefing, everyone knew exactly what to do, and the spectacle could begin.
Non-stop action from the very first minute
Fortunately, fans turned out in droves to see us. A large crowd was already eager and waiting at the entrance early on. Marcel guarded the gate—risking life and limb—until the starting signal sounded promptly at 10:00 AM. From that moment on, things really took off! It didn't quiet down for a single minute the rest of the day; we were literally run off our feet.
Music, popcorn, and chicken satay
To add to the festive atmosphere, we brought along the guys from our very own Forrest Hill Band. They created a fantastic vibe with their upbeat live music—even performing at some of our customers' stands. Meanwhile, our popcorn team worked overtime to keep the hungry visitors fed.
The weather didn't quite cooperate on Sunday, but that certainly didn't dampen the spirits; the stand was bustling once again. And since we’d been a bit over-enthusiastic with our shopping for Saturday night's barbecue, we spontaneously treated Sunday's visitors to delicious chicken satay. A win-win!

We look back on a fantastic, fun-filled weekend. We’re happy, the visitors are happy; What more could you ask for? We’ll certainly be back next year.
